I have used the JA401 very little and now it will not charge back up. I have emailed LOKITHOR about it two weeks ago using two different emails addresses available online and no response.
Disappointed in the product and the company.

My new JA401
Received the new unit for a Christmas present. Was extremely impressed with the quality construction. Appears to be a well made heavy duty unit and the instructions for use are very easy to follow. May not need it often but certainly gives peace of mind when travelling or around the home.
I am so happy with this purchase. It was a little harder to put together, while my backside is at its final resting place, it fits comfortably in this chair. I'm 5'3 and as soon as I adjusted the chair height with the piston arm, the back support fit perfectly in
